I’ve had the pleasure of partnering with Elyse on numerous Storyline projects at Unboxed. I’m always impressed by her natural ability to win others over! She consistently demonstrates Storyline and design expertise — if there’s a way to maximize a project, she’s on it. Elyse champions innovation and utilizing the latest trends in L&D. As a project lead, I also appreciate her ability to stay in scope and communicate any flags in advance.

I’ve worked with Elyse on several projects and her expertise in Storyline, accessibility, SCORM requirements, and creativity has been instrumental in meeting the needs of our clients and their learners. She’s also helped me grow in my experience with Storyline by mentoring me! So happy to work with her and create engaging content together.

I had the pleasure of co-teaching Adult Basic English 1 with Elyse at Sacred Heart Community Center in the summer of 2023. She was a joy to work with as a co-teacher of the class. Elyse is an excellent adult educator with many years of experience in teaching languages and adult learners. She brought her own resources that she created and curated during her career as a languages teacher, including engaging interactive and communicative learning activities.
Additionally, she developed great rapport with the students in the class, who were adult Spanish-speakers of varying ages and educational backgrounds, demonstrating her ability to relate to participants and address their unique learning styles. Her pedagogical practices are rooted in sound theory, and she is a highly capable instructor of adult learners.
As a career switcher, I did not attend a teacher preparation program, but hands-on classroom experience with strong instructors such as Elyse helped me to hone my craft in a way that cannot be learned from a textbook. I highly recommend Elyse for any role that she seeks, because I know that she will approach it with the same dedication, experience, and passion that she exhibited in a volunteer capacity. You will be fortunate to have her as a positive, uplifting, and driven member of your team.
